The idea of becoming an entrepreneur may arise from, for example
a product idea
a special skill
discontent with paid work
the idea of self-employment or self-fulfilment
continuing a family business or
the chance to become a partner in an interesting firm.
Whatever your starting point, you need a viable business idea and a realistic business plan.
You do not need to see entrepreneurship as a life-long project. It may be a trial, a way to earn a living for a certain period of time.
Laws and regulations have changed and correspond to future needs better than before. The authorities, too, encourage entrepreneurship and offer assistance.
Forms of business are flexible, and entrepreneurship does not need to be the path of lonely toil once thought typical. Team-based entrepreneurship, on a limited liability company or cooperative basis, distributes the risks and liabilities of entrepreneurship.
